 hotels_and_plane_tinythe ultimate goal is to make Eilat  the Red Sea capital  by creating a clear differentiation in comparison to it's competitors  upgrading and renovation of the promenade,Increasing the number of places of entertainment, Increasing the supply of shopping complexes, food and drinks along the promenade, expansion of the western part of the promenade, expanding and improving the  lagoon, are only a small portion of what will be.

By 2015 It sounds like we will have all that, plus a huge Congress and Exhibition Centre, an international sports campus and football stadium, a large Casino,  new hotels.  Golf course. Upgraded marina, and a shuttle service running  between hotels and attractions.
If all goes as planned, an estimated increase in visitors to Eilat by 2030 will be 7 million in comparison to 2 million today.
The tourist infrastructure upgrade has already begun, with some projects already at the advanced planning stages.  New festivals and events have been added to strengthen the winter months, including international sports championships  (5 European and world championships in two years), The Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Eilat , are in the final stages of formulating a special agreement to add many budgets to promote the city and encourage tourism.
