Promenade around the lagoon in Eilat  to be upgraded.
Labor cost is estimated at - 5 million ₪. This funding is part of a special budget which stands at 60 million ₪ upgrading tourism infrastructure


 

Work began to upgrade the boardwalk around the lagoon, the entrance to the commercial marina of the "king solomon" promenade, and will be completed toward the end of 2011
Sources of funding are Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Eilat.and will include: dismantling the existing boardwalk re-flooring, upgrading and completion of the lighting system, irrigation works, landscaping and planting, placing railings and installed street furniture.
