The first flight from Poland landed in Eilat recently, at Ovda airport, and was greeted with a warm reception. The maiden voyage from Warsaw to Eilat carried hundreds of Polish tourists. Upon arrival, the visitors were greeted by representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, the Tourism Administration, the Hotels Association, and the Airports Authority. Their reception included musicians playing Israeli melodies, glasses of Israeli wine, dates from Kibbutz Eilot, the gift of a cap for each tourist from the Ministry of Tourism, as well as publicity material about Eilat and Israel.
