The Red Sea Gulf International Skål Club’s monthly meeting was recently held in Aqaba, on the yacht 'Aladin' belonging to members of the club, Taher and Khalad Darwish, owners of the Sinbad tourism company, which is one of the largest in Aqaba.
The president of the Skål club, Ahuva Zayid, hosted the incoming director of Red Sea Tourism Administration, Sefi Hanegbi, as guest of honour.
The greetings of Eilat's mayor, Meir Itzhak Halevi, were read out by Jody Sirota from the Ministry of Tourism in Eilat.

The mayor applauded the joint initiative undertaken by the Red Sea Gulf International Skål Club for production of a joint regional tourism map that includes the tourist sites in Eilat, Aqaba, and Taba, a project that constitutes a significant symbol of the regional cooperation.
In his address, the mayor said that the cooperation with the neighbouring city of Aqaba through the Red Sea Gulf International Skål Club contributes to and strengthens the good relations and fruitful cooperation between the cities of Eilat and Aqaba and this is very welcome |
