Last friday Alon Rivkind  made a variable weight dive to the depth of 90 meter in the total time of 2:28 minutes.To perform such a dive you have to be very relaxed and focused, as mental strength is a big part of the game.The preperation includes physical - aerobic/anaerobic training like swimming and cycling, and mental training which includes yogic breathing and stretching, relaxation and meditation.There  are 2 main factors for a succesful dive: the first is smooth equalization,since going down quite fast requires full control on equalization and second  is
calmness in the body and mind. A calm body and mind enable you to consume less oxygen and allow you to enjoy from the whole dive. Alon's goal is to reach the 3 digit number 100 meter!!! and to be the first israeli to reach this astonishing number.Its a dream that soon will become reality.
