The bowls  sport in Israel, is enjoying  growing success. There is an Israeli Federation of bowls, which organizes high-level tournaments, like the one that took place Friday, March 11 where Israelis from across the country came to compete in Eilat. The Israeli team also travels abroad to participate in international tournaments..

In Eilat, the crew is mostly French, though some Israelis regularly watch the players and come and join them. Note that the bowling team of Eilat is one of the best teams in Israel. Among them, there are many French retirees who spend happy days in the seaside town where it is always beautiful, and would not miss for anything in the world one of these weekly appointments. There are also a few women, still a minority, but they have good a team and growing.
