The young Eilati windsurfer, Ron Asulin, came back from the European Championship for Olympic model windsurfing for youth, held in Sicily, with a bronze medal.  The weak winds at the competition site caused Ron difficulty by giving an advantage to those of his competitors who weighed less than him and to those who were much more used to such conditions.  Only 5 of the 11 runs planned in the event were carried out, due to the disappointing wind conditions.
