| The Queen of the Desert trek will be held this year in Israel, for the first time ever, with 30 Jewish women from Israel and abroad participating. This is a joint enterprise between Partnership 2000, the Jewish Agency, and the Geographic Company. The trek being held in Israel will be called 60 x 60, in commemoration of the nation's 60th anniversary. |

The Queen of the Desert trip will set out on the 17th of September and last for six days, passing through Mamshit Wadi, Yerucham, Mitzpeh Ramon, and the Scorpion Ascent in the Arava. It will include challenge activities, activities of the Jewish agency, a tour of military paces, and participation in an ecology project. The trek is open to any woman over age 20 who holds a valid driving license, is in good health, and resides in one of the Partnership 2000 regions. This includes residents of Eilat.
