During 'National cleanliness day' 29 March 2011, public activities will be held, designed to raise public awareness of cleanliness as part of everyday culture.Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Arden stated: "This day is an opportunity for all of us to stop complaining about the mess around and get used to small steps that will improve the environment in which we live. If everyone would throw his trash where it belongs, we will all live in a more pleasant and cleaner environment.
