Did you know that Israel is situated at the crossroads between three continents-Europe, Asia and Africa, and, accordingly, during the migration periods, nearly a billion birds pass through this migration corridor ( 500 million in each season of spring and autumn). Among these birds  about 280 different species are found. From March 31 to April 2, 2011, the 5th Festival of spring migration in the Arava region will take place.
