Who would believe that in a desert city, in extreme conditions, we can walk in the rain forest!. Botanical Gardens Organic Farm is by all accounts a piece of green paradise, managed to flourish beyond all imagination. And what better place to celebrate Tu  B'shvat, which is becoming a yearly tradition.

The organic farm contains more than 1000 -varius  species of fruit trees, ornamental trees, herbs and shrubs, that came to Eilat from all over the world.
And now, fulfilling their vision, the founders of the farm have created the rain forest, and nothing can stop them from developing the worlds first rain forest to exist in desert conditions.
The rainforest we established is the fist of it's kind, as it is in the open, says Arnon, the original initiator of the idea of the organic farm in Eilat. We have a lot of directions and ideas for  future development of new plants we can grow in Eilat.

We hope to grow plants that are suitable as cocoa, pinapple, orchids, cashews and other authentic rain forest plants.
