The staff of two local businesses, the Park Avenue bar-restaurant and the Platinium Club, mobilised last week for a day of beach cleanup, covering all the beaches of the North Beach.  Over 30 volunteers met at Tzion Beach and worked their way toward the Herods' Beach.  They were joined by some of the beachgoers along the way, who pitched in to help.  At the end of the day no less than 30 huge bags of rubbish had been collected.  The Aqua Nova (bottled water) company provided t-shirts to all the ‘marchers' and its supports and the Isrotel chain also helped.
