The children of Eilat are not indifferent to rubbish and are sensitive to the issue of recycling.  Some of the children that were at the Jazz Festival in the Eilat Port took the initiative and decided to help with the recycling of plastic bottles.  Each evening the children collected plastic bottles and glass beer and wine bottles into sacks, thereby helping prevent pollution of the bay where some of the rubbish would otherwise end up while at the same time putting resources to reuse.
