 eilatorganic2The Botanic Gardens -  was built originally of ancient stone terraces, with sign-posted paths, a reconstructed stream, lakes, waterfalls, stone, wood buildings and more. Three viewpoints look out over the Red Sea and the Edom mountains, and over the varied plants, baobab trees, fruit trees, and herbs . And for the children there is a real treat: steps to climb, narrow pathways to negotiate amongst a rich array of wilderness flowers, and all this, to the sound of the waterfall. Sounds like the garden of Eden? Well, it is! 


Tours, Paths for rambles, and group activities Rambling alone - With the help of an explanatory map of the Botanical Gardens you can wander the paths any day. Private Guided tours obtained at Tel. 08-6318788. There are 1000 kinds of fruit and ornamental trees in the Garden, herbs and other useful plants, bushes and plants from around the world.
The Organic Farm works on pure organic principles, and the plants are grown in an ecological environment untouched by chemicals, or the use of sprays. You can buy at the centre all kinds of plants, herbs, wooden benches, hand-made swings and chairs, flowerpots, pottery, watering systems and more.
