giladוְיוֹסֵף הוּא הַשַּׁלִּיט .......For those of you who don't know Hebrew, this phrase says "YOSEPH HOO HA'SHALIT". This comes from the 4th aliyah in the parsha of Mikeitz, that is the third to last parsha in the Book of Bereishit (genesis).
We all know that Joseph was the most famous Jewish prisoner of all time, removed from jail to interpret the dream of pharoah, later to become the most powerful person in Egypt.

Notice anything remarkable about this passage, does anyone find it interesting that after Joseph's name, the words "HOO HA'SHALIT" can be found. Name the most famous Jewish prisoner in modern times? It shouldn't be that hard, his name is GILAD SHALIT, yes that's right, the same SHALIT that can be heard in this phrase.

You might also find it interesting to know that Gilad Shalit was released from egypt, just like Joseph. He was released on the day that Joseph is our guest in the Sukkah (one of the seven guests over the seven days). He was released on a tuesday, and on tuesdays, Jews read Tehillim 60 (psalms 60), where in it you can find the words SUKKOT, and GILAD.

Some of you might chalk this up as a GIANT coincidence, but you're also probably the people that chalk every other blatant proof of Hashem up to them as well. Maybe this will be the jumpstart that will get you excited to learn more about your Judaism, and it should, because I can assure you that Hashem made this quite blatant for everyone to see...please share this link!!!
