The Mayor of Albuquerque -  Richard Berry, and a group of experts and  specialists in the water systems optimization, met with the mayor of Eilat - Meir Yitzhak Halevi and the CEO of Water and Sewage Corporation of Eilat - Chen Salty, to examine cooperation between cities on water and sewage.  Albuquerque, the largest city in New Mexico and the United States, supplies water to residents and residents of two other nearby cities,  together providing water to a million inhabitants. Barry was impressed with the unique solutions that  the corporation introduced in the water and sewage treatment, such as the sewer control system developed by the corporation "Ein Netafim,"   and asked to study them.
