I got back to Israel last week.Being here brings up a lot of very nice and funny memories. It's really nice to finally be back.Seven years ago I spent a few months in Eilat.

My returning in May this year made me realize how much I did not like my life in England where I spent five years. I could see the difference between the two countries more clearly. I decided to come back after having enough of English weather which forced me to wear a coat in summer. It was an irony to live so close to the sea there and yet not be able to enjoy it even once due to the weather. Some prefer this but I personally prefer the warm and sunny beaches of Eilat. I also had had enough of English food, they seem to be proud of their cuisine but I do not understand why. And lastly, the way how most of them behave. They are friendly, or pretend to be, but not open. I do not want to upset anyone, I guess I spent far too much time there.To tell the truth there are also nice things to say about England which I tell you now. I would like to mention how organised they live, which is good in many ways. I also like the English awareness for the environment, selecting rubbish, saving energy. It was high time to move on.

I really do not mind being pushed aside sometimes from any queue in Israel. Anyway here I am in Eilat and I am very impressed with all the changes here,  such as how Eilat has grown and hopefully will continue to grow in the future. It seems to offer more opportunities for everyone. It is also nice to know that future planned events will definitely bring more tourism  to town. Since I am back I have met many people from the time I was here before and also new and interesting people. It seems everyone has a very interesting story and I am here to listen.There are those who do not have a good life story, but they will make up a better story which makes it even more interesting to listen to. I am still listening.

Now I have the answer why I always wanted to come back. Mainly the people, especially the nice ones, but the rude ones as well because believe it or not they can also be found here as well. I missed the nice dry weather and the sea, plus the opportunity to go diving any time I wish.There are no strict rules in life here. People take life more easily and try to live and enjoy it. By the way I have not mentioned the food here in Israel …which I just love! I remember the first time I was here nine years ago, I had never been to a place like Eilat before. I just loved the heat, sea and had the chance to snorkel for the first time in my life. I can still recall my excitement and how incredible it was. I would never forget it. Never! That time I just stayed a day or two but never being in these kind of surroundings made it even more interesting for me. I could not forget Eilat and always wanted to come back. When I had the opportunity to return to Eilat, I stayed here for a while I had had many new, unforgettable experiences. I met and cannot even count how many different nationalities were here and people of different ages. It was so colourful. It did not matter how old you were, you would feel yourself young here. And that feeling is more important than the numbers. My first dive was here and was unforgettable.

I feel very lucky to be back and hope to enjoy my time here. I also hope Eilat will not disappoint me and I will be able to have more nice unforgettable memories. I wish the same for everyone who has the good luck to come here and experience this beautiful town with many opportunities!
