The premier show of the ethnic group 
On the Saturday and Sunday the 1st and 2nd of March, 35 Eilat residents participated in an exiting show of matchmaking and courting by the folklore group of the Ye`elim matnas .The premier of the ethnic group operated under the framework of the ethnic experience of the Matnas Ye`elim. He participants of the show were in part members from the Moroccan folklore group, the Yemeni folklore group, the Youth folklore group, and the European folklore group. The content of the show was taken from stories and different origins from which the band members belong.
Most of the participants were between 28 and 60 years old. Those that arrived at the show stood for some minutes and honoured the participants with thunderous applause. In the unique, colourful ethic show of matchmaking and courting the members of the experience related hidden stories that were behind the matchmaking habits in the communities of Israel from then till now.

The hall was full from end to end on both days, and the reactions were full of enthusiasm -“Fascinating”, “Full of ethnic colour”, “Funny to the point of tears” and left the audience wanting more. Dina and Gadi a couple from Kiriat Akron that arrived coincidentally at the show said it was “an exciting and professional show that would not shame any theatre including the halls of “Bet Lessin”. The show was embroidered with hard work by Eilat Toby the Choreographer , art director and manager, Gabi Zino - The Director, and Shani Ephrat the Producer. The matnas now think of presenting the show in other towns nationwide.
