After many years of success of the Jazz Festival in the summer, it turns out  that Eilat has something to sell  in winter. First Jazz Festival held in the winter was a huge success. .  and the jazz was at its best. Dubi Lenz hear, the music director of the festival,and known for his extraordinary culture musical backround and rich taste, talking about the artists said, it's a show in itself. "I bring the artists I want to hear, that I know will reach the audience.




The three day festival had great sunny weather,The music poured out over the crowd like warm sweet red wine, and the Port was full of people. The first festival day had Doron Rafaeli, composer,drummer and percussionist playing original material with touches of jazz, latin american and Israeli, and "Bad Plus" with their quality performance. The second day opened with Kenny Barron on piano and saxophone, and Juan Carlos Caseres "Tango in black" Trio. This show was a great treat for tango lovers. The trio created a beautifully timed performance, that had the audience drumming and clapping with delight. The third day presented Itamar Erez Wanemsbel, followed by "Fraternity Brothers", two pairs of brothers and musicians from Egypt and Israel, who joinedas" cooperation for fraternity between nations"
