| Those who've lived in Eilat for a long time will remember the insult of having judges from other parts of the country sentence criminals to exile in Eilat. As though we didn't have home-grown ones and really needed to import other people's crime problem. Well, that practice has mostly ceased, but now the criminals just come down of their own accord. |

That is how a resident of ‘the north' who had been renting a unit in the Aleph Quarter decided to resolve his gripe, at any rate. Fortunately no one was injured and no property damage sustained. The 27 year old suspect claimed - of course - total innocence, but the police are more sceptical. |
