Those who've lived in Eilat for a long time will remember the insult of having judges from other parts of the country sentence criminals to exile in Eilat.  As though we didn't have home-grown ones and really needed to import other people's crime problem.  Well, that practice has mostly ceased, but now the criminals just come down of their own accord.      Peeved at your landlord, got a beef with him?  Don't bother arguing or even suing him, when a Molotov cocktail is so easy to make.  If the first one didn't get the desired result, throw another.  That is how a resident of ‘the north' who had been renting a unit in the Aleph Quarter decided to resolve his gripe, at any rate.  Fortunately no one was injured and no property damage sustained.  The 27 year old suspect claimed - of course - total innocence, but the police are more sceptical.
