We are very saddened by the death of Isrotel Hotel Chain Founder, David Lewis, who died in London last night at  age 87, after a long illness.  David Lewis was a kind and wonderful person who would, every year, invite disabled IDF veterans and their families as his guest at hotels in Eilat. He also made quiet donations to scores of charities and needy individuals, without ever seeking any kind of publicity. of Mr. David Lewis, who was for them, not only an owner of Isrotel, but an example of Zionism, pioneering, courage, vision, imagination, and concern for the State of Israel. He was an inspiration to everyone who had the privelage of knowing him.
