The Ein Netafim Corporation is presently distributing water quality reports that concentrate the results of the water quality analyses done during January through December 2007 to the residents of the city.
The drinking water supplied by the Ein Netafim Corporation to the residents is bought solely from Mekorot. The report shows that during all of the chemical analysis done during 2007 there were no deviations and it determined that the quality of the water as per these criteria is of the highest possible quality.

The report includes results of chemical tests done at the Mekorot laboratory and includes checking water samples from the feed pipes (Mekorot connections), the storage reservoir, and the municipal network of piping. The frequency of chemical composition testing is determined in accordance with the People’s Health regulations (sanitary quality of drinking water).
In the report are given three values for each quality component and the general average that represents the average value of the 12 months of the year.
Below is a table concentrating the total results of the chemical examinations of water quality that were done on the water supplied to Eilat during 2007. The tables show minimum and maximum results received in 2007.
The general director of Ein Netafim Corporation, Ms. Chen Salti, responded:
“The Ein Netafim Corporation makes every effort to maintain the quality of the water every day of the year, and these results reflect that effort. We will continue to make sure that the water in Eilat is the healthiest and best in Israel.”
