The city of Eilat has decided to fight against violence, especially in schools:  students of the school Etzion Gaver, are participating in a program called "mouganout (protection ). At an "official" ceremony.  parents, Mayor, Meir Yitzhak Halevy, principals of schools, program officials and representatives of parents and students, signed a charter commitment to this program. This commits each student of the school to behave responsibly and peacefully, to respect his neighbor and to avoid any form of violence within the institution. In addition, a group of school children are chosen
to ensure that the breaks occur without incidents between students. their role: to defuse conflicts by word, hand out medals and certificates of good conduct for students whose behavior is exemplary, or note in a "specification" of the names of those who have made progress in their behavior toward others or those who have broken the rules. And it works: Everyone has seen, over the weeks, a marked improvement in relations between students, and a significant reduction of cases of violence in the playground.
