| Approval has been granted to file the plan for a new neighbourhood in Eilat, Ramat Begin (Eilat Heights). The Regional Council for the Southern District has decided to file a conditional plan for a residential neighbourhood comprised of 214 ground-floor homes in the city of Eilat. The neighbourhood is to be located at the edge of the granite peaks west of Sheshet Hayamim Street in the western part of the city. |

It is designed to fit in with the general landscape as a continuation of constructed sites and vegetation, the edges of which merge into the landscape. The plan will be connected directly by foot and transport-wise with the city of Eilat by transportation and open public areas. A promenade, engineered facilities, public paths, streets, and a strip for a surface runoff drainage system. The neighbourhood will rely on the existing public institutions in adjacent neighbourhoods. |
