Good news for travellers to Eilat and for soldiers.  Starting from tomorrow, 17 November 2008, Egged bus company is allowing the issuance of tickets to Eilat by an automated machine called the ‘Eilatomat'.  Anyone ordering a ticket to Eilat through the Egged Customer Service Centre or via the internet will be able to collect his ticket at the automatic machine located by the information window, just like when ordering a flight or cinema ticket.  The innovative device is designed by the Cadouri firm, which specialises in such devices, while the technical specifications are by Egged's own mechanisation department.
