In a ceremony concluding the ‘Youth Day' during the events of the Local Government Centre Week, the Minster of Education, Ms. Yulia Tamir, awarded a commendation certificate for excellent youth units in local and regional governing authorities to Eilat Matnas' Youth and Sports division.  The award was received on behalf of the Eilat Matnas by Mayor Meir Itzhak Halevi, head of the education division, Dr. Drori Ganiel; general director of the Matnas' education and community division, Iris Cohen; director of the youth division, Yoav Itzhak Halevi; head of the youth promotion unit, Ofra Buaron; and staff members who came to encourage and support.  [6.6.08]
